Moving is the worst. You have to contact brokers, landlords, spend all your time looking up places to view. It can feel like a full time job. Housing tours, talking to people, considering each and every thing. Reading through leases over and over again. Then once you sign, you still need to pack up your whole life and clean your old place, and this is the worst part of it all. No one likes packing their home, looking at each and every belonging and realizing you're more of a hoarder than you thought you were. It's stress on top of stress, and it can be back breaking work. Then you finally pack, you move everything there, which usually consists of hiring a mover, spending more money, and the physical part of unloading everything. You have to organize just the way you like to, and unpack everything in the new place. I will admit that I like unpacking, decorating, and breathing in the new air in the new place. Imagining all the great memories I'm going to make there. But the only silver lining to the headache of moving is that there's a cat waiting at the end for you.
